Appreciate these photos are not much to go on but does anyone know what this might be?

It's a small sample of what might be a weed growing from a wall. It's a trailing plant that dangles freely for a good few meters like long wispy hair. The small leaves look a little like a clover leaf and there appears to be small flower/seed pods. I would like to establish some in a hanging basket.

Is it ivy leaved toadflax? If so it will produce tiny blue flowers.

It looks like some sort of ivy but not sure perhaps when the weather improves and leaves appear perhaps it will give you a better idea of what it might be

It does look similar to ivy leaved toadflax. I've stuffed it into a pot. Hopefully something will come of it. Looks like there were seeds in the sample i collected. i have some ugly walls I want to brighten up and like the idea of trailing plants

It doen't appear to have any roots?

Think I'd be more inclined to save the seed pods.

I have it growing in expansion gaps on a north facing wall. Seems to like that aspect.

Edit: actually it’s a NE facing wall and gets early morning sun in summer.

I used to have this growing up a couple of fence panels, was there for a number of years.
Then one really cold winter it disappeared, never came back.

No it won't have roots I plucked a bit from the end. The seeds may take themselves in the pot. I can always go get more. It's growing near the local pub so a good excuse to go for a pint.

North facing wall is exactly what I'm after. That side of the house is pretty plain/ugly. I've bought a load of zinc wall planters and want to get some plants established on it.
