    Hello

Could someone please help me identify this plant/shrub and advise me how to prune it?

    Many thanks.

Looks like a hebe to me, not sure on the pruning, I'd say only a fairly light cut back, but not something I've had much dealing with.

Could it be one of the heathers? I'm not convinced it's a hebe, sorry @pete
Again, no advice re pruning, sorry, a definite id would be preferable first :)

    Agree with @pete

Both Mrs Shiney's and my immediate reaction to seeing it is that it's a Hebe. We used to have it in our garden.

I'm assuming that the white part in pic two are flowers and not the gravel showing through. Prune lightly only but not until the flowers have finished. Most small Hebes don't react well to heavy pruning.

Many thanks all. The flowers are tiny white flowers on the outer edge of the plant as shown in the latest pic. Just wondering if they any way to tame it a bit as it’s taking over so I may have to think about moving other plants if there’s no way to prune it back.
