Hi poohpuri - Pumpkins need about 4 months to develop, so you should plant the seeds in the Spring when we're definitely not going to get any more frost. They also need lots of sun :yho:

    Hope this helps.

    Hi poohpouri.
I hope you have a plan or suitable place to grow these on.

I'm thinking unless you have a greenhouse with some very good heat your a bit early.
The onions being the exception as they need to be grown cool, but in good light.

I wouldn't plant pumpkin seeds until April/early May myself.

Pumpkin plants get very big and you need to keep them indoors until after the last frost so I wouldn't sow them too early unless you have a good place to keep them. April should be fine for sowing.
Take the lid off your tomato and cucumber seeds and give them as much light as possible or they will get very leggy.

Hey Poohpouri - There is actually an online problem solver within the RHS website that you might want to look at. You can put in what you're trying to grow, what the conditions are like etc and it will offer tips and advice. While you're there, you should also look at this area it details some of the big RHS events throughout the year. I've just bought tickets for the Cheslea Flower Show for Mother's Day, she'll be so pleased :luv:

Shout if you have any further questions. Chris
