    Curiousity got the best of me I'm afraid, looked on in horror as Carol's chickens trampled my parsnips, so I thought I'd lift one to see how they are doing in the new raised bed.

    The root measured a little over 14" and weighed in at 12oz exactly, I'm well chuffed and can't wait for christmas dinner now! :dancy:
