    hi all,
please can someone give me some help before I panic
I have a large bamboo that was lifted from the ground about six weeks ago and placed in a large container, all was going well with no leaf curling and plenty of green growth, sitting in the corner happy as can be......or so I thought today I have noticed that several of the leaves have turned yellow, now I was told to make sure that it was given a good drink everyday - that done and I placed heavy stones aound the top.
What I wondered is have I over done it with the weather chilling down and the need for water not so great?
Do you think it is yellowing because it is waterlogged, it is placed in a damp corner where my ferns and banana do well.
any help would be GREAT :D
    many thanks
    sam

It may just be the shock - but I would remove the stones, and cut back the watering. Lift the pot if you can onto bricks of something to get it off the ground and let it drain - just in case waterlogging is a problem

thanks for that Fran, will do it first thing in the morning bricks under could be just what it needs as it is in a heavy clay corner that could have just sealed the pots drainage holes. slow down on the watering and removed the stone.
I will let you know if it helps
    ;)
