        Hey both,

Thanks very much for your help! Why do some of the stems keep falling do you think?

Also, the spikey leafed one in the last photo seems to have a flower type thing growing from the centre and i cant seem to find any info on it, do you know what it is?

        Thanks in advance
        Chris

Hi @GardeningNewbie all those stems are coming from one peony plant, and there are a number of the stems with buds ready to come. I would get about 4 bamboo canes, push them in around the stems then tie twine around the canes to stop the stems falling over. When peonies start to flower, they can become very heavy (especially when it rains) and the stems fall over. If you want to be fancier, you can get something called link stakes from Wilkinsons to hold the stems in.

Hi Chris , without seeing the whole plant it's hard to tell but a guess for now would be Yucca.

Ooooo KFF, I'm going against you on this one, I think it's a Cordyline. :)
