I have sown seeds as they are everywhere but this plant is not what I thought - it is low growing, rosette base, lobelia sized with a spread of about 60 cm plus with tiny green pods which don't really flower.

Any help identifying would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Cleavers, goosegrass Sticky Willy or Arenarium aparine. A terrible weed which clings to everything. and the seeds are even worse as they are incredibly difficult to remove from clothing, You can eat the stuff though (never tried).

Hi - Thanks very much for your suggestions- unfortunately it is non of them - i will take some more photos- it is not sticky and with lovely leaves creating a very good ground cover. I can't believe it is a weed as it really looks like a random packet of seeds i have sprinkled.
    Thanks

A close up of the leaf and buds would be useful. My eyesight is not what it was.

I have this growing in my garden too and have been trying to eradicate it for eight years, it self seeds everywhere and grows very quickly. I now have it under control and pull them out as soon as I spot them, but with seeds still in the soil it's an on going task. Sorry, I have no idea what it is but I know it's not goose grass.
