Hi all, I planted this plum tree end of last year a month or so it came to life and looked good and healthy. But when I came back from holiday last week it looks to be dying if not dead can any thing be done to save it, can anyone help? Thanks for reading 002.JPG 003.JPG

Try a very good soaking, new trees need a lot of water till they get established.

Maybe it's out of sync and thinks it's autumn? I had a bonsai that did that once.

If the watering pulls it round, BS, it would be worth leaving a 1m circle of clear earth around the trunk, at least for a couple of years. If you can get hold of something suitably organic like compost, manure, leafmould or chipped bark (with a light sprinkle of nitrogen fertiliser underneath the last one) a good deep layer over the soil, but away from the trunk, will help the tree get established.

If it was a person the minister would be present.
