    I have a 120sqm lawn- turfed with a high-quality, multi-purpose ryegrass/fescue turf. (Rolawn Medallion)

Been down for 2 yrs .. over winter it was severely affected by worm casts, and as it was very, very wet from Oct .... I could not remove them with a brush, too walk on lawn would have caused too much damage.

Lawn started off this season with it feeling like you are walking on pebbles rather than flat lawn.

    So far I have:

    Cut (to 2")
Raked to get out any dead leaves
    Light rolling (35kG roller)
    Treated with Iron Sulphate
    2weeks later - Scarified
    Applied GP feed
    2nd cut (to 2")
Used a lawn slitter (mantis) to aerate the lawn.
Carried out pH test on lawn average is 7.2

To get some nice feel back underfoot in I'm going to Top Dress, just ordered in 2T of top dressing mix, could only get 70:30 mix
    Q. should I use as is, or add some more horticultural sand to it.

Also I want to lower pH to around 6.5 ..... should I just add another dosing of iron sulphate, as it will also feed & keep moss away ..... or am I better to use Lawn Sand.
Q If answ is Lawn sand should I add a couple of weeks after top dressing - or before ?

or ..... am I better to add Ammonium sulphate, after Top Dressing ?

    Advice welcome
