My lovely new potting shed has arrived! I was initially thinking of painting it green (nothing too dark) or maybe light blue with a different colour trim around doors & window but now im thinking maybe a darker colour would be best to help make it blend into the garden a bit more & not look so prominent! Maybe even just play it safe & go the dark brown of the deck/railing?

What colour would you guys paint it?

Please excuse the state of the garden it was major surgery to get the old shed out & the new one in :phew:

      Hi @honeybunny
If it was mine where it's situated I'd see it as an extension to my fence and paint it accordingly, but sometimes it's good to let go:smile:

Hi @honeybunny , I think if it was me I'd go for the datk brown of the railings. I'd slso paint the fence the same colour so it all tied in together.

Morning @honeybunny my friend ,I would paint it antique pine stain,,I painted one of my past sheds Yellow and Green in a "I'll cheer that shed up moment"and wouldn't do it again as after a while I didn't like it and because it was painted there was no way it would take a wood stain,so I was stuck with a colour until I got a new shed, but everyone is different my friend:smile:

Clear stain gets my vote, would be a shame to cover that lovely looking wood.

As above , leave it as it is , and recoat with a clear stain when needed . It blends in with the fence then.

It'll probably go a similar to that of the fence. It won't take more than a year.
So you could leave it as it is. At the moment it is a bit, "in your face."
My shed I built in 1976, out of recycled materials and is still in perfect condition, gets a coat of Dulux Woodsheen every few years so it blends in with all the other woodwork.

                    It makes it less noticeable.

Thank you all :waving: i have decided to go for the dark brown to match in with the rail/decking. Had it been more out of the way/tucked into the corner of the garden i would've gone with a brighter colour or kept it the colour it is now but what with it being so far out into the garden i need to help it blend in a little ;) however! Im going to paint the inside a nice cheery shade of green! Which thanks to the BIG window you will be able to see from the outside :ideaIPB:

I just need to wait for the rain to stop now :rasp:
