Practical and Inventive use of hessian?

    I've just inherited a dozen unused hessian sacks and whilst I have a few ideas I thought I would field this topic about them.

    Can anyone give me practical uses from a gardening standpoint and also in the same vein does anyone have any inventive ideas for its use?

    Well its not inventive but I use Hessian to protect my less hardy plants in the winter,ohhh and not forgetting i do use them for sack races:)
