I have a few pepper plants in the greenhouse, capsicum red chillies and cayene peppers. The cayene pepper is not looking too good ( but what do I know). The leaves have started to curl and the are some very dark lines running up the stem as a precation I have removed it from the greenhouse any ideas what the trouble is.

HI kaptainzep I'm not sure about the dark lines running up the stem of your plants have you checked underneath the leaves it could be red spider mite if your greenhouse is to dry and hot. When it gets too hot in the greenhouse I usually soak the floor with water to give some moisture in the air.Hope this helps. :D

Presume you only have the one cayene plant, so nothing to compare it with.
Not grown them myself, so dont really know if this is normal, but it dont sound right. It could possibly be a virus, which are usually spread by greenfly.
I think you've done the right thing in separating it from the rest, just incase.
