    Hi all.
I have a couple of small trees that have marvellous crops of medlars and quince. I'd like to double up! It's November, the fruits are ripe and delicious. How can I grow a couple more trees and how long will I have to wait/

I think grafting is probably the usual method with both.
Seed grown plants would be variable and cuttings probably quite difficult.

Thanks for this. What kind of root stock should I look for?

Dont know it the quick answer,
surely there must be some info available from specialists, you could even try a local nursery that deals in fruit trees.
This place is just down the road from me http://www.keepers-nursery.co.uk/stockresults.aspx?fruittype=7

Just click on information on rootstocks.

Seems they use a few different ones dependin on the size of tree you require.
