If I turn on the telly one more time to find some drooling idiot and his dumb missus trailing around a very des res muttering 'yeah, well, like ... it's quite a nice gaff, but it ain't got no 'ot tub, the wallpaper's c*** and there ain't nowhere for the missus to store 'er spare vats of fake tan' I think I may have to chuck the damn thing out of the window. How do dimwits get to be so spoilt?

Those idiots never actually buy anything, they are just doing it so they can get on the telly. They pick these 'characters' for these programmes specifically to annoy you and me.

Do you think so? Maybe I'm just the gullible type. Mind you, sometimes they're asked how much they can afford and they suck their teeth and say things like: 'well, we'd like to have a bit of money left to invest. So ideally, nothing much over the two mill mark.' I wouldn't mind if they were people who showed any sign of brains, enterprise or talent. But then maybe people like that don't appear on schmuck tv.

I actually enjoy those programs .... I also often watch the ones where they renovate / or build new houses (Grand Designs)

lately I have been watching border force (with emmigration police)

          looking forward to X-Factor tonight

I must be getting old :o

If they removed the property programmes and the cookery programmes - I dont think they could half fill the schedules !
And how come these 27 year old couples always seem to have a budget around half a million £'s ! For a country pile and a little pokey one bedroom flat in London which costs more than my house !!! Gotta stop now, I am starting to foam at the mouth again :D

But for some one who does not like a programme you do seem to know a lot about it, which to me says you do sit and watch it, in which case the makers have achieved their objective, me I do this.

I do. Frequently. I'm just trying to remember the last time I actually watched something I thought was really worthwhile. No. Can't think of anything. I'm not ready to give the damn thing up, though. What would my son do without endless re-runs of 'Friends'? :gaagh:

The best one is where they have a family who may or may not emigrate to Australia. The only criteria seems to be an ability to cry and get homesick on cue.Still the whole family get a free holiday.
I am just wondering why this rubbish is any cheaper than gardening programmes.

No. A minute or so is all you need. Kirsty or Kirsty-ish person, two clients who have a lot of money but often look like they might lick the windows on buses, picturesque location.
