          Which one, Ziggy, the original one in black and white which was extremely scary or the later one in colour which wasn't as good, in my opinion. as the first.:hate-shocked:

                  Quatermass and the Pit was a very scary series . I thought the film remake was OK as well :blue thumb:

                    The Quatermass Experiment was made in 1953, Quatermass II was made in 1955, while Quatermass and the Pit was shown in December 1958 and January 1959............I'm now more horrified how long ago it was, than by the series:hate-shocked::dunno::heehee: The film was made in 1979 and while it was good it, to me didn't have that really gut churning effect of the 1958/59 series, maybe because in black and white it was more sinister and..............and we were a lot younger!!!:heehee: I bet anyone, who had not seen the series, and was watching the black and white version would be.......:sofa::snorky:

                      It was the 1967 hammer version last night, me Mum let me watch it with her when I was a kid, as Dad was on nights and she'm were too scared to watch it on her own :yikes: :biggrin:

                        Well i don't think i've ever seen it in the 80s :scratch: and secondly i wasn't even born like some in 1955 or 1959 :old::heehee:

                        What's it roughly about please :)

                        @Zigs most likely our tele will be the same channel :scratch: but what a stupid time to stick it on :dunno:

                            Yep, horror channel, usually a load of rubbish on it :biggrin:

                              Just asked hubby about it :whistle: ...he saw it and said it's a load of rubbish :heehee: but in it's day it was the thing :wow: WE...the crap we have to pay for is disgusting [​IMG]
