    Zigs, you can get milk that has nowt done to it, if you can find a farmer had has a licence to sell unpasteurised milk,then the hard bit, to find a farmer with channel island cows and with that licence to sell it, i think there will be more farmers in somerset/ dorset area selling there milk than up north,
    not shore if you can get pasteurised milk with out the homogenised bit of the treatment but no harm in asking

    When I was young we used to get milk straight from the cow - sometimes literally.
    It wouldn't be allowed these days - never did us any harm (I hope!)

    When I lived in Eire I used to take a gallon container to the farm next door where it was filled,then tip it in a bowl ,leave in fridge overnight,the cream could be 4" thick and you had to break through to get to the milk.:cat-kittyandsmiley:
