Don't laugh.. can I straighten it?

It kept getting knocked off the window I was going to chuck it but noticed it's got flowers forming and a new growth.

Is it a mammillaria? Does not having it spikes affect it?

 

I think it is a mammillaria that is not getting enough light.
Or at least only getting it from one side.

I'd not bother trying to straighten it, the lack of spines suggests some rough handling but it will not affect growth.
Apart from a few flower buds it appears to be growing a side shoot which will in time balance it up.

 

Ah thanks Pete it's been in a south facing window the last 4 months to try and straighten it lol ..Think I'm going to have one odd looking plant. Cats are being kept away from it. For now.

It does look quite shaming in the window I try not to pee myself everytime I look at it
