Quick growing hedging and trees - Recommended sellers?

Hi,

I am looking for some quick growing hedging and trees, i am thinking conifers. now i know the gold can perform as a hedge, i would like it to grow to around 6 feet then it would grow over the fence and on to the public footpath, this is to keep kids from climbing the fence.

For the trees i would like them to grow to block out the wind and the noise from the playing fields and a train track. I am no expert so what 2 types should i buy?

finally i live on the wirral, does anyone know a good retailler that is reliable and well priced? i dont want to spend a fortune and am willing to start with small trees!

 

Hi Steve, Lleylandi are very quick growing conifers,but you will have to
keep trimming them,as they can get out of control,I keep mine at about 6ft.
