Quick question - do these things have a name in the gardening world?

    I'm new to gardening. My back garden has a few of these and I'm wanting to do stuff with them to make them look nice. I'm looking for advice or inspiration over what can be done but first it would help to know if they have a name so I know what to call them and what to search for

      Hanging basket-thingy-wotsits that are attached to the wall and not hanging.

      Simple.;):biggrin:

      You just plant them up with anything that you would use in a conventional hanging basket.

        I think those and others similar are based on hay feeders or hay racks, they used to be in stables don't know if they still are, but as @Scrungee and @pete have said basically baskets.
