No rabbits about this year. Normally they keep the grass down outside my fenced areas, but I'm having to spend lots more time strimming it. Only seen one this year, and that was only for a few days and never again. Away from my plot I've only seen one and that was beside a busy road in the middle of the day. Must be a really bad case of mixi.

Seen more than usual out on our walks around here
Maybe yours decided to vacation down in our sunnier, warmer South :heehee:

Drove along a 7 mile stretch of road early this morning that's normally littered with rabbits (dead and alive) at that time, none in the road, on the verges or in the adjoining fields.

The local Hares are still around.

We've got them all here! :hate-shocked: It's worse than usual in the garden and they're even eating the rhubarb leaves.

One that I shot a couple of weeks ago had mixi.

Now you mention it, I haven't seen very many this year yet. I usually see gazillions at this time of year. I think I've seen two so far this year.

We never see rabbits live or dead now and im in the deep countryside. The birds of prey have eaten all the rabbits and the badgers have eaten all the hedgehogs.
When growing up cycling about youd come across rabbit roadkill everywhere but not now. Theres none, nada.

Now you have instead dozens of squished badgers and the odd deer, but no rabbits, stoats, weezils or hedgehogs.?

Plenty around here, dead and alive. Popped a few the other day and made a tagine with them :blue thumb:

No sign of Mixi around here at the moment which is good.

Hundreds of the little b***ers around the place at work. They're thriving and multiplying, despite the presence of a pair of resident buzzards, plus foxes, weasels, stoats, two dogs and a semi-feral cat who patrols the area around the stables and beyond. Only seen one with mixi in the past few months too.

@Jiffy Every year is a good year for ragwort round here. :psnp:
