    Hi All

Just been re-tieing my rasberies, some of the canes are 7 and 8 feet high can I take the top out by 2 feet to make them all look 6 feet or will I take out all the flowers and fruit to come or best just to leave alone I have given them a bonemeal feed and top dressed with compost just emptied the dalek .

I prune the tops of my raspberry canes when they get to about 7ft tall and not noticed anything untoward. If anything I've noticed over the last couple of years I get side branching which gives me a slightly later second flush of flowers and fruit

Me too, I chop mine down to "reachable height" and it makes them branch.
