Hello green fingered folk! This is my first ever post in a forum!
Can anyone offer advise on how to deal with the above?
I moved in a year ago and last summer raspberries sprung up
in the middle of the lawn.
The ground itself is extremely uneven and the lawn is patchy and full of weeds.
The plan is to remove all the grass and start again as I feel this is the only way to get the results I want.
My question is, what is the best way to go about removing the grass and ensuring all the raspberry canes are removed?
Obviously being winter I can't see where they are to dig them out and I'm guessing rotervating is not a good idea?
Thanks so much for your help.
    :-)

Raspberries spread like mad and they will throw up tons of suckers from one plant.

The best bet it to mark where the offending plant is in your lawn with a cane and then remove the lawn.

Dig about a foot down under the cane and remove the roots. Follow the runners and this should lead to the other plants.
