red cross

why is it that on some pages i have instead of a picture,a square with a red cross in left hand corner.???

 

Probably where folk have deleted their pic from files.

 

more like it is just that the picture for some reason has not loaded. If a photobucket picture has been deleted, you get a message to say so.

I usually get that red cross - if for some reason my ISP is no longer connected - though I am still connected to broadband etc - I can see the posts but the pictures do not load.

There red cross just says - haven't loaded the picture. There could be a variety of reasons why. Sometimes it just fails to make a connection with the picture source. If you right click on the red cross and choose 'Show Picture' it tries again. If it just failed to make a connection it will often load with a second try. But if the picture itself is missing then of course it can't load it.

I get the same yet i havnt deleted any of my pictures, they usually come back up
