reliable tv brands...suggestions.

    Hi Flower,

    I got a sony bravia which does me fine. It was the display model in the shop, got it for £300

    :) Although I have a Toshiba as my main TV,it was good value at the time and is excellent.
    I would always go for Panasonic if you can afford it.Just for sure quality build and reliability.

    My nephew repairs TVs for a living and always says Panasonic are the most reliable closely followed by Sony :gnthb:

    I have Sony Bravia and Panasonic, Personally I wouldn't go for Philips or Toshiba but that is only my personal experience with these names,I think it depends a lot on what experiences you have had in the past:)

    We bought a Sony Bravia, 47 inch last Christmas, and love it.

    sing0) I have a Sansung TV.. Have had it for about 3yrs now & it is superb...... Sansung screens are some of the best, even on lap tops & mobils & have been for many yrs...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yho:

    Thank you for sharing your experiences. I had a Toshiba cassette player in the past and it didn't last long.

    We have an excellent 32in LG, wouldn't recommend Sharp or Goodmans.
    Binned a Panasonic DVD recorder as it was rubbish but their TVs are excellent .

    Definitely Panasonic, JVC or Samsung, all are usually very very good. Of course if you have won the lottery then go for Bang & Olufsen!!!
