I've got a few replacement polycarbonate sheets in mine - mainly because I find it easier to cut to size and I happen to have some used sheets laying around from when the house had secondary glazing. Mine let the same amount of light through I think.

I've never worked with that twin walled stuff, I suppose you cut it to size with a saw. You should get an insulation benefit. I was also going to say it would be difficult to fit on my greenhouse because of the thickness, then I see it's only 4mm thick so the glazing clips should work OK. However I wonder how strong it is, it might be very flimsy.

I think there are quite a few threads on this one, mowgley:hate-shocked::heehee: There's definitely a difference of opinion in whether you should replace glass with glass or with polycarbonate!!:sofa:

Twin walled polycarb can't let as much light through due to the structure between walls. Doubt it would make a huge difference but it might be important to some?

    Not considering the acrylic/perspex route?
