    Good morning everyone,

    We've had the kettle on again and along with a couple of Jammie Dodgers we've had a chat about re-starting the monthly photo competitions, but we would like your opinion on doing so before we do.

    If we were to restart the photo competitions, there is two ways we could score them:
    • Close the thread at the end of the month and then have a second thread where everyone can choose a first, second and third place choice and then those choices are totted up to determine the winner
    • Have the photo competition thread with one photo per post and then simply use the number of post likes to determine first, second and third place.
    Please let us know in the poll on this thread what your preference is :)

      Great idea, but the photo’s on here of wildlife and flowers are so good I would find it hard to choose.

        Can we have various categories so that also anyone whose finger is present in every photo and is still trying to figure out how to focus on a phone camera can participate?

        Something like "Best Comedy Photo" or "Just missed the opportunity" would be great. (or, "Tried Her Best" :redface:) Comedy Wildlife photography awards for inspiration- I love these!

          What about 'forgot to take the lens cover off'. I'd win that one. When I got this new camera I couldn't seem to get it to work and was fiddling around with a lot of the buttons. A passer by said "Try taking the lens cover off" :doh: :redface:. My previous camera, same make, beeped if the cover was on when it was turned on.
