RIP Bernard Hepton

    I was very saddened this morning to hear of the passing of Bernard Hepton. Often underated as Toby Esterhase he was (along with Alec Guiness obviously) the star of the George Smiley TV adaptations. Bizarrely I started watching Smileys People on You Tube on Sunday. Let's hope that his passing gets the Beeb to repeat these classics on prime time TV to show how good British drama used to be! It would be a fitting tribute.
