    From flower growers.
Most of you, or if not I have a very small garden at the rear.
Because of health issues I have decided this year to cut out veg growing
(apart from some runners and onions in large pots.
I am wanting to fill it full of flowers.
Loads of colours and attractive to butterflies and birds.
I intend to keep the little pond as well as this may become a feature.
Can you give me some clues as to whats the best to grow.
I reckon in total I have about only 10 sq mtrs. fenched on one side.
I`m looking through the usual merchants stuff ang getting more confused every day.
I have spotted some miniture Buddlia which may be a good start.

    Thanks guys.

Buddlia is a good start (they are half price at the GardenCentre Group until Jan 31s)
The Garden Centre Group - Plants, Flowers, Tools and Garden Furniture

They do a click and collect, which I've used, saves going to a GC and finding they don't have what you want.

    Others for butterflies:

    Lavender over the summer.

Sedum spectabile (Ice plant) for late summer.

    Sweet Williams/Wallflowers for next spring.

For birds, maybe try sunflowers and teasels.

Robert, if it`s dwarf flowering shrubs you are after then there is:- Syringa microphylla, Sarcococca, Japanese Azaleas, Hebes and Perovskia, to name but a few.
