I started training one over my front door 2 summers ago and no flowers... nada, not a sausage!

I've just been looking over it this morning and there are unmistakable flower buds - they're tiny but they're there.... yay:happydance:

Just thought I'd share my happy news:yess:

Hi Bluequin. that's good news. there is nothing worse than planting a substantial plant or bush
waiting for a result and nothing happens, most annoying . as i understand the Rosa Banksiae Lutea prefers a sunny sheltered site.

    Lucky you!!! [IMG]
I love this rose and I ordered a plant these days. (We make group overseas orders through a Bulgarian flower forum, as these varieties are not locally available).
But the yellow beauty was not in stock... :(

However, I replaced it with two other ones:
    1. [IMG] 2. [IMG]

    1. Acropolis (hybrid tea)
    2. Ghislaine de Feligonde (climber)

Bluequin, I honestly share your excitement. It's one of my dream roses!!!
Post pictures when it blooms! [IMG]

Finally, I have a yellow Banksia rose! It arrived yesterday and I'm really happy because it happened to be 'out of stock' with any nursery from which I'd tried to buy it so far.
    Now it's here and planted.

Not much of a rose for the time being: three bare stems and several leaves.
    But how lovely the feeling!
