      Yup! Spot on, that's a rose....:heehee:

      Seriously, it does remind me of queen Elizabeth, with the reddish tinge to the foliage and stems, strong upright and vigorous growth. Lovely scent to it, and if you cut the buds just as they start to relax, they dry beautifully....

              I really dislike trying to i.d. flowering plants by their colour as they never seem to be very accurate due to camera and computer screen settings. But, I'll go with Sian's verdict that it's definitely a rose.:dunno::heehee: Long shots are "Dearest" or "Brother Cadfael":dunno::scratch::snorky:
