My nan popped round last week to see my garden for the first time since we moved and she gave me this rose as a present. I have no idea what it is as it didn't come with any tags.

I'd say the flowers are slightly darker than they are in that photo also

I picked a better day to take these close up shots of the flowers. They measure about an inch across and this is as near to the colour as I can possibly can.

          I don't really know as I have a cold atm :(

I'm not sure if it is healthy as I've noticed a bit of (what I presume to be) mould on some of the petals when I took those pictures yesterday. I hope this photo shows what I mean.

Hmm I've not seen it inside the bud before? I posted a thread about powdery mildew not long ago, but it didnt spread to the flower so not sure what that is? Is it just on the one flower? Maybe a spray of rose clear or something would do the trick? That seems to tackle most problems/diseases if present ,although I don't know whether it get's rid of them completely. Mine had like a powdery white coating on the leaves. I'm sure someone else will have a better idea though....:help: lol
