      Not me.
As I said last year (if I recall OK) when I did the survey 2 years ago I was inundated with emails and mailshots from all sorts of wildlife related (sometimes loosely) organisations.

Used to do this quite seriously when my daughter was younger, spending a day before building a 'hide' out of things like straw bales, bundles of brushwood (pea sticks), etc. to make it seem more exciting, complete with chairs behind for her and a friend, and table laden with drinks and snacks for them whilst they did their survey.

Unfortunately she lost interest after finally becoming a sulky teenager.

I do it every year but I don't get any mail shots or anything like that.

Sounds good, something i'm sure the new cat will want to join in with.

My youngest will be having a bash at it again. She has done this for the past 5 years now and enjoys the birds, she also tries to draw them after dad tries to take their picture. Trouble is they get camera shy.

I've just registered to do it this year, and ticked all the boxes for "don't contact me using this", so hopefully I won't get too badly spammed.....

In previous years there was a printable, tally/ID sheet, provided on the RSPB site. I can't spot one this year. Is there one lurking somewhere?

I'll take part for the first time ever. I want to try to get to pics of the visiting birds this weekend anyway so I might as well do two things at the same time. I was going to use another phrase but it's seems a bit inappropriate:heehee:
I've down loaded the id/count sheet although it doesn't seem to have every bird I have flying into the garden for munchies and I'm sure that's the same for others. I would have thought they might have left some open boxes for other types of birds that aren't on the list.:dunno: :snork:

I've yet to download this years sheet but last years did say that if you see a species not on the list record it on another sheet:dbgrtmb:

Gale force winds and rain forecast here for the weekend, not great for the birds but I'll be watching anyway.
