if anyone is looking for a cheapish sat nav system, ebuyer have one at £49.99 inc delivery. mine arrived today. It needs a quick and easy update to have full postcode search but it seems a good little unit for the cost.

will do inter. it has fairly positive reviews from users on ebuyer. I have just upgraded the mapping and postcode, was nice and easy. Have played about with it putting in addresses of family and thats been ok, will try it locally and see what it does when I take different routes etc. I might even read the instruction manual!! :D

If you can get updates easily then it ought to be ok.

I use a tom tom one and cant fault it, a bit more expensive though.

Me too, David ... and I'm pretty good with them (even if they are ancient) and road signs even if they are naff and have a general good sense of direction.

If all else fails, I follow my nose or go where the wind blows and I'm not lost yet. :D

sat navs are much more exciting, they send you across fields, into farms and down 1 way streets the wrong way! then when your completely lost, they freeze and refuse to work again! not even if you talk very nicely to them.

But at least it means you've got someone to blame when you get lost and they can't argue back! :D

oops, yeah sorry, no offence meant Doris' you get lots of praise too when you get me to my destination safely, which is the majority of times and if i get lost its usually my fault really, i just blame you. I know i shouldn't but i'm a man after all and therefore can never be blamed of getting lost! grovel [IMG] grovel [IMG]
