Scabious (I think I’ve spelt it right)

    bought this from Asda (they do sometimes have nice plants!) it’s starting to flower a lot but there’s not much foliage at the moment. If i take off all the developing flowers, will this make the foliage grow a little more? (And hopefully still flower?)
    Am happy to leave it but was watching Beechgrove this morning and she was removing flowers from smaller plants to encourage the green.

    If it was mine I'd leave it. I'm new to scabious growing, but I'm getting the impression they have a small base of leaves that the flowers grow above :dunno:
    Yours looks really happy, much better than mine :blue thumb:

    Thank you... I didn’t really want to cut it as I love the flowers! Asda really do nice and cheap plants, when they look after them! Got an amazing Bowles mauve for £4!

      Asda are great :blue thumb: My Bowles mauve have been from aldi the last couple of years. Cracking little plants for a few pounds :spinning:
