I was only thinking about it yesterday and today my Sutton's seed catalogue for 2013 arrived, having had a quick look through I'm quite disappointed. Plug and pot plants now take up nearly half the catalogue and seeds are very basic, nothing that immediately catches my eye.

So, who do you suggest I try please, Sutton's will not be getting my money this time. I'm looking for flower seeds.

I get catalogues from Marshall's, Dobies of Devon, and JP Parker as well as Suttons. The latter two seem to be mostly plug plants as you say.

I got quite excited when my Sutton catalogue dropped on the mat at the weekend. I have only had a quick look, but I am also disappointed. I thought even the layout is very hap dash.

If you're after seeds, request one from Chiltern's, no pictures (good descriptions though) but hundreds and hundreds of species and varieties to through...:dbgrtmb:

I would Jenny, but as yet I have no seeds to swap and I don't drink, so a bit of a non-starter for me. :heehee:

                  Sheal,
I'm sure there will be more than enough seeds for us all.
Have a nice Elderflower frappe (over ice) and put your name on the Seedswap list,
                  Jenny
