Seed sowing tools

      To be honest when you consider how many seeds there are in a packet of Petunia seed the germination rate is quite low so I would stick to thumb and forefinger. Lick your finger tip first and that provides a little more control.

        FC , Longk has a good point above. As the germination rate is very low on Petunia seeds , it is probably not worthwhile to single seed sew in a multi cell tray. Mixing tiny seeds with silver sand is a very good method , the link below shows very well how this is done , plus lots of other good seed sewing basics are shown :dbgrtmb:
