Has anybody used sewage sludge as fertilizer? I bought some as ericaceous feed from rhododendrons.co.uk and will be using it on my Rhodos, Camellias, etc this year.

Just wondered whether anybody has used it and whether you found it good or not? :)

Cor, that takes me back. We used to buy it from Huyton Sewerage works many many years ago. Spread it on our front garden and everybody crossed the road to the other side. Good stuff though, plants grew like mad. Mind so did tomato plants, good toms too!
