I think they will grow into one of these :-

I recently went to a place called 'Tropical Wings' near me, they had a massive greenhouse, converted into a jungle with a big pond in the centre. Butterflies fluttering everywhere and caterpillars eating everything.

    A few pics/ to follow ;)

Doesn't sound the ideal place to buy a banana plant really.
Anyway the butterflies look impressive, how big is that one? :D

Well Nathan, If i was to see one of these on my banana plant, i would be really concerned, not that i would feel i would have to worry , but gut instinct would say, " oh my god what the hell is this",
