Here is a photo of Lily taken today. We were discussing taking her to the vet to have her claws clipped. Do you think she knew what we were saying?

Lucy was a rescue cat. We think she was part Norwegian Forest or Maine Coon. She was huge with furry pads and a thick double coat.

Lily and Lucy chums together 11-9-16.jpg

We bought Lily as a kitten. She is a polydactyl or Hemmingway cat. She has extra toes on the rear paws and instead of dewclaws at the front, she has thumbs.

They are both stunners. Is Molly long haired? They probably need their fur coats there in Scotland. You have a lot of brushing to do. My sister had a polydactyl cat.

I'm afraid Molly won't be joining us. We went to visit her again today and everything was great. She was friendly and wanted fussed over. Then one of the girls from the shelter came in and spoke to her and she stuck a paw through the bars and tried to scratch her. Molly then turned on me and with teeth and claws made a right mess of my hand and wrist. She then took a swipe at my wife.
It was disappointing to have to leave her but there was no way we could bring her home with Lily in the house. We could have coped with her if we were on our own and I am sure she would have settled down given a quiet house and lots of love.

I am sorry to hear that Jocko. Our cat Munchkin (hence her nickname), a Tabby, turns on us in a nano second and we have had her since five weeks old and she will be 13 in May. She attacks our other cat Van all the time but we think she doesn't like his crossed eyes (Cross Siamese Snowshoe) who has been with us nearly eight years.

There is a furry out there with nicer manners who would love to be in your home.

My wife admits she was after a replacement for Lucy, more for her than company for Lily. She has decided that Lily is more than enough cat for our household and we will give her all the love we have to give.
