By now your Christmas cacti should either be in full bloom ( Schlumbergera truncata) or bursting with buds (Schlumbergera x buckleyi).

Let's see them....Whether it's a newly purchased plant with a few flowers or an air loom passed down through the generations that now needs a fork lift truck to move, show them off here.

Here are mine. Sadly though they are older photos as all but one have failed to flower this year..

    Red!

Gold Charm. I have just 3 buds developing this year.

Samba Brazil. A new purchase which has amazing multicoloured flowers.

My wife's grandmother had one that stood on a pedestal - I guess about waist high, maybe a bit more, and hung down to the ground - it looks spectacular of course :) I keep meaning to get a piece of the original plant from my wife's cousin (her's is on the kitchen windowsill, constantly pruned, or knocked!, thus remaining small) as I would like to continue the family tradition.

Any chance you can turn that off so it doesn't appear on every message? Thanks.
