There are various bits and pieces in different threads, so thought that for the few of us who are Rhodo fans, it would be worth pulling them all together in one thread :)

I've got lots of dwarf Rhodos bought very young last year, a couple of which have flowered this year, but they are all filling out nicely now so next year they should hopefully all flower.

I've shown you mine, now show me yours :WINK1:

      Superb quality there.

I`d love to show you mine but I`d get embarrassed :heehee:

Now that we`re back on track  what I mean is they are aren`t the best quality. They are in the wrong type of soil and have yellowing leaves. I didn`t do my research when I bought them sadly.
Gave them some coffee grinds last week to help but as they were in bud, didn`t want to re-pot them.

I`ll monitor them for now and change the soil after flowering.

Just opening up now so after a few weeks I`ll hopefully give them a better home.

If you give them some sequestered iron they should be happier. I use Vitax Seaweed with Sequestered Iron, but you can use Sequestrene or Maxicrop do a liquid one as well :)

I got some of this today. £5.99 for 500ml from Dobbies but due the amount of rain we`re having just now, I guess I`ll have to wait until the soil dries out a touch before applying. Would I be correct in that assumption?

It's best to feed plants when they aren't thirsty. Reason being that the fertiliser can burn the roots otherwise.

Don't think you'd want to do it when they've just had a good soak, so as you say, maybe wait until the soil dries out a bit, but not to the point where it's dry :)

        Have a look here.

I'd use half the recommended dilution for the first feed and see whether that makes any difference.

        Lovely :blue thumb:

I've got a couple of those and although they are supposed to be tender, they've managed to come through the extremely cold winter (-19C) that we had winter before last.
