    Got this at a boot fair last week and even the guy selling it couldn't
    pronounce the name......anyone know what the plant is please.

        Agree..one called Gaura lindheimeri Gaudi Red.. I believe.

        Not a shrub but a perennial.

            Thanks to everyone for all your help.....its a great looking plant and was only £2 :)

            Looking at the RHS web site, I guess the easiest method to propagate is
            by basal cutting?
