Solved Shrub I/D Please

Got this at a boot fair last week and even the guy selling it couldn't
pronounce the name......anyone know what the plant is please.

 

What a colourful plant will be interesting to find out what it is

 

Gaura lindheimeri? it's some kind of plant from the evening primrose family anyway

 

Agree..one called Gaura lindheimeri Gaudi Red.. I believe.

Not a shrub but a perennial.

Looking at the RHS web site, I guess the easiest method to propagate is
by basal cutting?

It is bad enough trying to remember one name.
Gaura is the name I am used to using.
