Any advice on my clematis. I planted it 6 weeks ago and have been watering it well every day. It was looking good until a couple of days ago. Now the plant is dropping and its looking poor. Only the top of it looks green and healthy

Hi, a bit late to the party, but how did your clematis go in the end? I had the same sorry state of mine just 2 weeks after planting and scared of it being the wilt I cut it down to the ground! It's been a month and no growth.. I've been told and researched online that it will only come back next spring now!

I did the same - chopped it down - no sign of life - will wait and see!
