If it were me I think I would remove the bricks and use decking, have a platform at the top and then slope down.

You need a slope into the pond so hedgehogs can get in and out, if you haven't done it already.

Apologies, I see now, I thought they were bricks.
I made this for my daughter's rabbit, I'm thinking on the same lines only with decking, all you would need is some small batten for the decking to sit on it doesn't need to hold weight so nothing to heavy needed. 20220527_133347.jpg

Personally I'd remove the sleepers, and probably make the ramp longer if possible.

we have no more decking to make the ramp longer i can see about cutting the bottom sleeper back more so the ramp will lay on the floor more just need to adjust the angle of the ramp on the left side

Maybe remove top 4 sleepers on the right then they have a longer platform to start from?

Is there a ramp coming out of the pond Gizmo? If a hedgehog falls in it won't be able to get out.

Does it matter how long a slope is for critters ?

Only gutter protection over planted pots at the moment
