slug/snail proof bedding plants

    Nah - I drove out about ten miles into the country and released them into a ditch by a field today!

    Achillea seems pretty resistant, and I agree on Cosmos. Most woody shrubs seem ok. I found my marigolds were subject to rot rather than slugs this year, looked similar but it wasn't the slugs.

    Be careful with geraniums, slugs like to hide and breed under the foliage!

    I've not had my compost bin for long but all my slugs seem to of found their way there now. I also dont seem to see many slugs about when its raining now either. I guess its a good attraction away from my flowers so they keep to themselves now. [​IMG]

    I`ve just been rearranging a few pots.There were two but after i shouted something like WHAT! Little Milly had dived in and threw one across the yard. :D Having a bean feast in the poached egg plant(which i don`t think is ever gonna flower.) [​IMG]
    It was raining at the time so not the clearest of pics.

    I've never had them munch on Geraniums, Snapdragons or Day-lillies or I might just have been lucky!!
