Seeing a rather well fed looking mouse feeding from spillage from my bird table, so I put down a couple of those mouse poison blocks. Next day, these poison blocks seemed to have been nibbled as they had assumed an apple core shape......Alas, Mr Mouse was still around and looking quite healthy.
Being suspicious that some other creature was dining on my mouse poison, I encircled them with slug pellets....an woe behold, the next morning these blocks were surrounded by dead slugs. I've repeated the process several times and caught dozens of slugs.

I know it's possible that the slugs may have been deaded by the slug pellets alone, but I'm fairly convinced it was the slugs who were eating the mouse poison.

Btw, Mr Mouse seems to have departed now.
