It's our Charity Open Day tomorrow and I've had enough of getting everything ready. So I thought I would give GC a sneak preview.

The photos were taken with two days to go so some things will be untidy - or not hidden properly.

Some photos may be of the same flower beds but from different angles (I'm a bit tired at the moment and can't sort through them properly :))

Flower bed by footpath on front.

That's beautiful, shiney, and I just love the flower bed by foothpath on the front ... it's so "English country garden" and I'd love to see it someday if we do ever set foot in England again.

Thank you for giving us a preview peek, boa sorte for tomorrow and I hope the weather is good to you. xx

PS I posted too soon and even more incredible pictures popped up in front of me .... I'm bookiing my flight now so you'll find me camping out under a shrub somewhere when you go to survey your exquisite estate in the morning .... you'll recognise me ... I'm not as pretty as the flowers .... xx

There's more than a WOW factor there ....

Good luck with the open day Shiney and for showing your lovely garden that we will be missing.Hope that you get plenty of GC visitors and I am sure that you will have loads of people from your village and the surrounding areas.Perhaps one day when you don't live so far away and the petrol prices have become reasonable we might just make it:thumb:

Thank You for sharing your plants and flowers with us.:)

PS my plot is so tiny it would only hold the interest of visitors for two minutes and certainly not two hours.:D

Shiney - you didn't tell us that you lived in a park!!! Bob has already asked what I was going to -
"Own up Shiney, how many gardeners do you employ?"

I've seen lots of pics of your garden, but this is so beautiful - you and Mrs Shiney must have slaved for weeks. I bet Oscar helped, missed seeing him here but no doubt he'll be on some of tomorrows photos.

When Hubby sees these pics, he will be jealous of your neatly trimmed lawn and the precision edges. I don't mind it a bit untidy but he loves it just as yours is. Do you have one of these edge cutters, sort of a half-moon type thing?

I do wish we were over visiting my cousins at this time, I would insist that we come to your Open Garden Day.

Wishing you lots of visitors and hope they buy all of the plants you have potted up for sale, eat all of the cake and cookies, drink all of the tea and that the weather is grand for it all.

Thanks for giving us this glorious preview.
