Just been watching the arrival of the people coming to compete.

My eyes are wet with emotion.

I rarely support "sports" but this is different. It is not big business or gambling driving this event. It is heart wrenching examples of the human capacity to survive adversity.

I wish I could send Harry an atta boy. You rose above monarchy.

 

@CanadianLori I fully agree. If anything is spoiling sport today, its big business and gambling amongst participants.

 

You have to bear in mind that Harry isn't actually Royalty.

But probably best not to go there

 

@pete I never thought that it might affect the sprirt of those over your side watching the games because he is not really royalty but by your remark, it obviously does. I guess there are inflexible lines between classes and titles over there. I really don't like saying negative things but I think it is petty and small when it comes to events as unique and pride instilling as this, to add a snub to it's tail. I thank you for clarifying this distinction. I did not know this fact.

Now I shall applaud a little louder for those fellows and the Canucks too. Someone should.
