I ordered 3 Soapwort plants (Saponaria Ocymoides). I think I expected plants in pots. They arrived as clumps of roots - which is fine but I aren`t ready to plant them yet as I`m still landscaping the area and the wet weather has held me up.
Should I plant them in pots for now or will they keep over winter dry like this in a cool greenhouse wrapped in paper?

Just heel them in somewhere, or put them in a pot and cover with compost.
