    HI
I LIVE WEST OF SALISBURY AND MY SOIL IS VERY CHALKY WITH LOTS OF FLINT WITH A VERY THIN LAYER OF TOP SOIL,OF COURSE IT MAY BE DIFFERENT TO THE EAST.I CAN GROW MOST THINGS BUT I USUALLY ADD LOTS OF FYM TO IMPROVE THE SOIL I HOPE THIS IS OF SOME HELP,VISITING SMALL LOCAL GARDEN CENTRES CAN GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT TO GROW AND YOU CAN GET SOME GREAT ADVICE AND OF COURSE LOOK AT OTHER PEOPLES PLOTS.
